The Text Editor does far more than simply let users edit text. With it, users can:

• Edit text
• Format text (bold, italics, etc)
• Insert Tables
• Insert Images
• Insert Links  - to pages within the site, and on other sites
• Embed objects - to show data stored elsewhere in the site
• Edit the underlying HTML directly

It also provides an undo function, so you can revert to the currently published content, or even the content that was published previously.
