The Text Editor enables you to embed a wide range of items onto the page. These items will display data stored elsewhere on the site.

Note: This function is only available if you have the appropriate permissions.

There are three types of item you can embed:

Queries

A query is a set of one or more records of information, normally extracted from a Form datafeed.

Internal Searches

An internal search displays a list of page names, as links, of pages that contain a specified search phrase.

Other items

The items shown in this category vary depending on the component being edited, but the most common usage is for fields and field prompts in the Query component Custom view.
