Data Feeds | ||

Data Feeds are the Source of raw data. For example a Table has an associated Data Entry Form (the Source) for a user to fill in. Other feeds could take data from an RSS source elsewhere on the internet, and many other locations. These Sources store their information in Tables that are used to provide the source of data for Queries. Queries then that process the data before handing it on for display by Views.

The Table provides general purpose structured data storage, based around the concept of a relational database table. In addition to defining the structure of the data being stored, it:
Data Entry Forms are a much used Source of data, but they are not themselves Data Feeds. Data Feeds are structured sources of information that can flow automatically into the Queries.
User Data Feed
The User Data Feed provides access to the user data stored by the security subsystem (and normally viewed through the User Manager)
